COCKER COLOURS

As laid down in the Breed Standard, Cockers come in "various" colours and these colours are traditionally as follows:-

Solid colours (no white allowed except on chest):
Black, red, golden, liver/chocolate, black and tan, liver/chocolate and tan.

Particolours:
Blue roan, orange roan, lemon roan, liver/chocolate roan.
Black and white, orange and white, lemon and white, liver/chocolate and white.

The term ‘ticked’ is used when small flecks of colour are present in the white, for example black and white ticked.

When tan markings are present on head, feet and under tail the term ‘and tan’ is used. Seen in blue roan and tan, liver/chocolate roan and tan, black, white and tan, liver/chocolate, white and tan
